ITINERARY:

After breakfast at your hotel, we will pick you up with our private bus, then we will go to visit this beautiful and popular Churup Lagoon with extremely clear waters and deep blue color, it is located 28 kilometers east of the city of Huaraz and an altitude of 4450m., along the way we can have panoramic views of the city and some mountains such as San Juan, Cashan and Churup, this is a perfect hike near the city of Huaraz for acclimatization.

From the city of Huaraz we drive along a paved road to the small town called Pitec, along the way we cross traditional villages such as Unchus and LLupa with their houses built of adobe where there is also the possibility of seeing the local people in their traditional clothes and working in the fields of cultivation.

After arriving at Pitec, which is the starting point of the trek, we first register our name and pay the entrance fee to the Huascaran National Park Guard, and then we start ascending along the path over the long ridge. After walking for an average of 2 and a half hours of walking we arrive at the Churup Lake which impresses any visitor by the beautiful view of the lake that is surrounded by typical Quenual trees and in the background the Churup Snowy.

We have an average of two hours here to enjoy nature, take photos and have lunch enjoying the beauty and charm of this wonderful place.
