ITINERARY:

Day 01: Huaraz- La Union- Tupac- Huayhuash Camp Ground
Very early in the morning, we will come to pick you up from your hotel with our private transport and drive up to the south east of Huaraz city, first till a small village called Conococha 4100m., and then we keep going up by bus to the east till the Yanashallash Pass 4700m. After that we start descent toward the Huallanca City where we will have the breakfast; after this break to eat, we will continue with our trip, one hour more driving we will get to the next city called La Union and from here we will drive straight to Tupac Village. Here we will start our trek to get to our first camp site called Huayhuash 4390m., in distance is 5km approximately and in time it will take us about 2 and half hours. Once here we will set up our tents, and then we prepare the dinner.

Day 02: Huayhuash to Cutatambo via trapecio Pass (5100 m)
This is a very beautiful day in Huayhuash circuit (walking slowly is between 7 to 8 hours) to the camping place called Cutatambo; Today, all the way the view is wonderful specially from the pass (Trapecio 5140 m.), from there, we can see several mountains which belong to Huayhuash and Raura Mountain Range such as: Siula Grande, Sarapo, Carnicero, Puscanturpa and Cuyoc, and then we will walk on the glacier, after that almost finishing the glacier we can see the lake Sarapo Cocha which is a really beautiful lake in this area and somewhere after the lake is our campsite in the valley called Calinca, where we will set up the tents and overnight at Cutatambo campsite.

Day 03: Cutatambo to Caramarca Lake via Cerro Gran Vista (5152m)
This is our challenging and beautiful day because of this our second day that we take our personal gear and all the equipment by ourselves; but our porters will help us with part of our staff, so after the breakfast we leave the campsite around 8 AM in the morning toward the Cerro Gran Vista Pass, on the way up we will be face to face with the view of the several amazing mountains like Yerupaja, Siula Grande; Sarapo; Rasac and Carnicero and also we will see three beautiful lakes: Jurao, Santa Rosa and Sarapococha, next to this lake was the campsite and it was the success of the movie Touching the Void, keep going up we will be higher and the view it gets much nicer every moment, when we arrive to the top (Cerro Gran Vista 5152m), we have one of the best view in Cordillera Huayhuash, after that we just walk through the edge of the hill for 30 minutes and then we walk down to Caramarca lake where we will make a camping.

Day 04: Caramarca to Jahuacocha via Rasac PuntaPass 5129m
Today we need to leave the campsite a bit early because it is a bit long after the pass Rasac Punta 5129m. The first hour will be easy and the half an hour we will be walking on the Glacier until the pass just at the foot of Rasac Mountain: after the pass we wil walk for about an hour on the stones and then will be on the grass; but wil be a bit long until our last campsite which is Jahuacocha, along the way down we can see the Rasac and Barrosococha lakes and several ice mountains.

Day 05: Jahuacocha Day off- Hike up to Cerro Huacrish
Today we can only do a half day trek up to Cerro Huacrish to get an incredible and great view form the top and then come back to have a lunch at the campsite, free afternoon to do whatever you like.

Day 06; Jahuacocha to Rondoy via Minapata and Sanbunya Pass 4800
After the breakfast early in the morning, we will start walking up around 7:30 AM until our last Camp Site called Rondoy, it will takes us about 5 to 6 hours walking, and on the way we will still have wonderful views specially from Minapata view Point and walking up to the Sanbunya and Rondoy Pass. From the pass will be very easy the way down and along the way we will enjoy the beautiful landscape with a lot of flowers and also we can see the flying of the Condors very close to us.

Day 07: Rondoy- Huaraz vía Chiquian City
This is our last day, so we share the last breakfast together in the mountain and we will start our driving back to Huaraz at 9:00am, it will take us about 5 hours with our private transportation and then transfer to Hotel in Huaraz.
